Well it looks like Dale Earnhardt himself has a roller coaster now! Named after the NASCAR legend, the “Intimidator” is living up to its name as being not only the tallest roller coaster in North Carolina, but is the tallest, fastest, and the longest roller coaster in the entire southeast!
This beast has a track that runs over 5,300 feet which makes it the biggest roller coaster, it stands over 23 stories high at 232 feet which makes it the tallest roller coaster, it reaches speeds exceeding 75 mph so that makes it the fastest roller coaster, and the ride will take about 3.5 minutes which makes it longest roller coaster.
That first drop of 211 feet is coming down at a 74-degree angle too right into seven hills, one for each of Dale Earnhardt’s NASCAR championships.
